Analytical platform Statista publishes a list of countries that are against hosting the Olympic Games. The platform compiled a list of countries opposed to hosting the Olympics based on Ipsos surveys.
Ipsos conducted a survey in 28 countries, with 57% of respondents saying they were not in favor of hosting the Olympics this year, with most citing the threat of the spread of the coronavirus.
According to Ipsos surveys, South Korea tops the list, with 86% of respondents saying they oppose hosting the Olympics. After South Korea, the Olympics have the fewest supporters in Japan, where 78% of respondents said the Olympics should not be held, and in third place is Brazil – 68%.
