Wahidullah Hashimi, a senior member of the radical Taliban movement, said there would be no more democracy in Afghanistan because it had no basis in the country.
“There will be no democratic system at all, because it has no basis in our country. We will not discuss what type of political system we should use in Afghanistan because it is clear. “This is Sharia law,” said a senior Taliban official.
According to Wahidullah Hashimi, the Taliban leadership will discuss governance issues this week.
