The evacuation of tourists from three 5-star hotels in the popular Turkish resort of Bodrum has been announced, the BBC writes.
The cause is fires, which are already raging in many locations across the country.
In southern Turkey – in the provinces of Mersin, Osmaniye, Adani, Antalya and Kahramanmaraşi, a total of about 100 forest fires are being fought. 6 people were killed. Up to 2,000 firefighters are trying to put out the fire. The work involves planes, helicopters and vehicles equipped with water tanks.
Initially, a forest fire broke out three days ago in Manavgat, Antalya, and spread over a large area.
