Flights to all destinations from the International Airport in the Afghan capital are prohibited. The decision was made by the Taliban. The information is spread by Sky News Arabia.
According to “Al-Jazeera” TV, Taliban troops approached Kabul airport, and some Taliban groups were already inside the building.
To disperse the crowd gathered in and around the building, they fired several automatic weapons into the air.
According to the TV company, the airport will be opened for civilians in a few days, on August 21.
Earlier, it was reported that all commercial flights from Kabul Airport had been canceled and transit planes had been recommended to change their route bypassing Afghan airspace.
