Netflix intends to make vaccination mandatory for all U.S. employees to continue working. The BBC writes about this. According to the publication, at the initial stage, the actors and people in close contact with them will have to be vaccinated. The company also says it intends to pursue a similar policy with UK employees.
Like Netflix, other companies, such as Google, have stated that all employees should be vaccinated before returning to office. This decision will initially apply to employees on U.S. campuses and will later apply globally to the company’s 144,000 employees.
As for Netflix, the company administration made this decision after a new standard was spread among Hollywood studios, according to which large companies must implement a policy of mandatory vaccination of employees.
Bloomsbury, a publishing company that first joined JP Morgan and several other companies, first spoke about mandatory staff vaccinations in June. The main purpose of mandatory vaccination of employees, according to the giant companies, is to maintain the optimal pace of business operation and, obviously, public safety.
