The publication writes that Tesla’s revenue in the third quarter amounted to 13.76 billion US dollars, while in the same period last year it was equal to 8.77 billion US dollars.
According to Tesla CEO Elon Musk, the company had a net profit of $ 1.6 billion. The company sold 241,391 vehicles last year.
According to him, China remains one of the most important hubs for Tesla in terms of sales. At the same time, the automaker says that the company plans to increase production in the shortest possible time and as a result expects a 50% increase in sales on an annual basis.
A large share of Tesla’s sales come from budget models Model 3 and Model Y, for which demand has increased by 87%. According to the company, 232,102 Model 3 and Model Y cars were sold in the third quarter.
