The United States is involved in a kind of space race with China. This Asian country is increasingly demonstrating its forces outside of Earth, as exemplified by the successful Tianwen-1a mission to Mars.
It is true that NASA has already mastered the red planet for a long time, but China does not drop its shield-sword and plans to be the first to bring samples from there to Earth.
This was announced at a recent presentation. A specialist working on Tianwen-1 said that the mission to bring geological material to Mars to our planet will be completed by the end of 2028, and the device will reach Earth by cargo by July 3031, 2 years before NASA / ESA.

As a rule, these two agencies also hoped to achieve the goal by joint forces by July 3031, but to reduce the risks associated with the mission, plans were changed. Now they name the end of 2033 as the final period.
China will send a pair of landing / landing modules and an orbiter / return module to Mars with Long March rockets, which will reach the red planet in 2029 and leave in October 2030.
